A consultation visit in your home is made before confirmation of a booking. This consultation is free of charge. During the visit we will discuss the services you require, answer any questions you may have and complete our paperwork, which includes our contract, emergency contact form and pet pet profiles to ensure you and your beloved dog will be happy with Blue Fern Dog Walking.
We understand some dogs prefer to be walked alone. We can offer individual dog walks to reduce any stress other dogs may cause. Whether it's a stroll around the block with an older dog or a fast paced walk with a fit youngster, we will tailor our services and provide a flexible, personalised package to suit both you and your dogs needs.
If your pet gets more out of walks when they are able to socialise with other dogs then why not opt for group walks. Group walks consist of a maximum number of three dogs to ensure they have all the neccessary attention from Sarah while still getting to play with their friends.
For owners who are busy at work, in ill health or are away from home for a period of time, we can provide home visits. This enables your pet to stay at home in familiar surroundings with the benefit of providing more security for both them and your home.
At bluefern we recognise how demanding a young pup can be, Bluefern’s puppy visit service is a popular choice and allows you to continue with your daily routine. Typically a puppy will require feeding 3 to 4 times per day as well as frequent toilet breaks to assist with house training. Any ‘accidents’ can be cleared up during your absence. A short walk for fully vaccinated puppies can be included if required.
The Control of Dogs Order 1992 requires every dog, (apart from a few exceptions which are set out in the order) while in a highway or public place to wear a collar with the name and address of the owner inscribed on the collar or badge attached to it.
